On Generalized Perspectives

Updated: Jun 8, 2022

The state of affairs we live under are not unchangeable because we don't have the ability to change them, they are merely temporarily unchangeable as we work through getting to point of change. For example, the mind of a young person is strong, high-headed, stubborn... they will not change their mind about this thing or that thing, but over time, they will gain more knowledge that think a bit differently, and come to change their mind. The same is of events not within our power. Simply because they are not in our power now does not mean they cannot be made to be in our power, through changing events within our power. For example, if one is trying to cheer up another, they can change elements of the reality of the present situation with a multitude of methods. These are actions with the ability to manipulate reality, and you must be mindful of them. Let's break it down into more perspectives: From a stranger, we expect nothing because we do not know them. From an acquaintance, we expect some level of recognition. From a friend, we expect some level of enjoyment in spending time around them, a sense of support, and a logically transactional, give/take system, on a smaller level. From a best friend, we expect all of that, and a little more interaction and forgiveness. Mutual understanding of basic beliefs and behavior, trust. And so on and so forth. But before that, remember that nothing is guaranteed, so when we say expect, we tend to really mean we had hoped, because we expect nothing of the situation. Rambly.
